Yes, Dr. Awkward is confirmed to perform his own set at Nerdapalooza; however, we are still in need of the funds to get him there! We have incredibly high hopes we will make the amount before the event, but we still need your help!!!! We will post an updated meter to judge the progress of our funds every Saturday, so help us reach our goal!
I know it seems like a very low amount, considering Nerdapalooza 2010 is less than one month away, but all it will take is YOU buying raffle tickets!
With $100s of prizes involved, and only 40% of the funds raised, YOUR chances are GREAT for winning BIG!!!
(Think about it, the more tickets you buy, the higher your chances are of winning cash and prizes! It’s MATH!)
To help motivate you, the geeky masses, we are adding even MORE prizes to the raffle contest!
It seems that all the nerdy artists out there are lending a hand! This past Wednesday, I managed to catch up with YTCracker and MC Lars at Emo’s club in Austin (part of the MC Chris tour).
YTC was VERY generous in donating 3 albums (one signed by both YTC and Lars) and both a womens shirt and another t-shirt in the hopes that we can raise the funds to ensure Dr. Awkward’s presence at Nerdapalooza!
Along with YTC and Lars’ addition, Funky49, a FL-based rapper, has included two copies of his Starblazer album! (Very generous, esp after all of the donations from last year!)

Your first $10 donation will get you one raffle ticket. Every $5 after that will purchase you an additional ticket.
You will receive your tickets AT Nerdapalooza 2010 BEFORE the drawing if you purchased them online.
When you receive your ticket(s), you can decide which Raffle you wish you enter (or both). Look for the Raffle Contest near the Merchandise tables (you will also have the option to purchase additional tickets at the $5 rate if you purchased your first $10 ticket online prior to the event…we know, it seems confusing..). There is a place to add a note when you donate online if you wish to provide us with further contact information. You will be required to show some identification to verify that you are the tickets’ purchaser.
Raffle tickets will be available for purchase throughout the event as well, so make sure to visit the merch area!
